DJ Alex Vi
A DJ for those who want more than just background music — an atmosphere.
A professional DJ with 28 years of experience in London, the UK and Europe, and a long-standing resident of clubs and events for the Russian-speaking community.
I don't simply put together a playlist and press play. My job is to feel the crowd, catch the mood of the room and build the musical atmosphere so that guests want to stay on the dance floor.
Over the years I have come to know the Russian, Ukrainian and international audiences well, while constantly following new musical trends, world charts, fresh remixes and club releases.
Why people choose me:
🎧 Reading the room
One of the key skills of a good DJ is understanding the audience here and now. I don't work from a pre-set playlist: the music changes with the mood of the guests and the flow of the evening.
🎶 A professional music selection
Current international hits, favourite songs from past decades, dance, pop, disco and more — the selection is adapted to the format of the event and your guests.
🔥 Exclusive versions and remixes
Over the years I have built a large collection of original and rare DJ edits, remixes and modern reworks of well-known old and new hits.
🎭 Themed events
I can prepare a special musical concept and playlist for a themed party, including a matching DJ outfit and dress code.
🎚 Live mixing
Tracks are mixed live, so the music sounds like one continuous set, without awkward pauses or the feel of an ordinary playlist.
🎤 Microphone work
Where needed, I interact with guests, make announcements and keep the energy of the event going.
📣 Extra promotion for your event
For public events, promotion is possible through Facebook groups, Instagram and my own network within the UK's Russian-speaking community.
🤝 Help with organisation
I can recommend trusted musicians, hosts, artists and entertainers working in London, and help with some organisational questions.
🎨 Help with flyers and promo materials
Events:
• weddings
• birthdays and anniversaries
• private parties
• corporate events
• business networking
• themed parties
• club events
• events for Russian-speaking and international audiences
Professional equipment of my own. For events of roughly 20–100 guests I can provide my own set:
• LD Systems DAVE 10 G3 PA System — 2 speakers + subwoofer
• 4 × Gobo Moving Head disco lights
• Smoke Machine
• Animated Disco Laser
• Radio and wired microphones
• Mixer + full connection kit
• Professional DJ Console + Laptop
• DJ Standing Table
Outside the DJ scene I work professionally in technology as a Head of IT, which gives me an extra advantage as a DJ: technical thinking, attention to detail, a systematic approach and the ability to find a quick solution if an unexpected technical situation arises during an event.

Dj Alex Vi
🎚 Live mixing
• business networking
• LD Systems DAVE 10 G3 PA System - 2 speakers + subwoofer
• 4 × Gobo Moving Head disco lights
• Smoke Machine
• Animated Disco Laser
• Radio и wired microphones
• Professional DJ Console + Laptop
• DJ Standing Table
