London Bonfire Night 2026: confirmed fireworks, prices and times

Six major sessions are officially confirmed: Wimbledon Park on 5 November, Morden Park on 7 November, and Alexandra Palace and Battersea Park on 7–8 November. Here are the verified times, ticket rules, child policies, transport and restrictions — without recycling last year's dates.

Checked on 11 October 2026. Familiar venue names are already appearing in London round-ups, but many 2026 listings remain marked TBC. This guide therefore includes only events already published by the organiser or local authority.

Wimbledon Park and Morden Park: two displays each evening

Merton Council runs Wimbledon Park on Thursday 5 November and Morden Park on Saturday 7 November. At both venues the gates and funfair open at 5:15pm. The first musical fireworks show begins at 6:45pm and is described as more suitable for young children. Entry for the second session begins at 7:15pm, its display starts at 8:30pm and the funfair closes at 10pm.

The 2026 programme lists musical fireworks, rides, street food, bars, DJs and a new observation wheel, with separate booking promised later. Facilities include toilets, an accessible changing place and a baby changing and feeding area.

Getting there. There is no visitor parking. Wimbledon Park entrances are on Wimbledon Park Road near Southfields, Revelstoke Road and Home Park Road; the Home Park Road gate closes at 6:25pm. Morden Park entrances are on London Road, Hillcross Avenue and Lower Morden Lane. Check the map for your chosen gate before travelling, particularly for the second session.

Alexandra Palace: Saturday party or Sunday family day

The Fireworks & Drone Festival runs on 7 and 8 November, with Alexandra Palace Park gates opening at 4pm. The combined fireworks and drone show is scheduled for 8pm on Saturday and 6pm on Sunday. Both days include a giant bonfire, marshmallow area, ice skating, funfair and street food.

Saturday is the later party night, with an Eats Everything outdoor DJ set, German Bier Festival and a Queen tribute show advertised. Sunday starts earlier and is family-focused, with a kids rave, karaoke and family entertainment. The main event page quotes tickets from £11.50. A separate early offer advertises free Sunday entry for children under 10, but only in the early-bird allocation and subject to availability; add the free child ticket with the adult booking.

Battersea Park: strict last-entry times and advance tickets only

Wandsworth Council confirms two evenings. On Saturday 7 November gates open at 6pm, Rudimental DJ is listed for 7:30pm, entry closes at 8pm and fireworks are expected at about 8:30pm; the event ends at 11pm. On Sunday 8 November gates open at 4:30pm, Lords of Lightning perform at 5:45pm, entry closes at 6:30pm and fireworks are expected at about 7pm; the event ends at 9:30pm.

Tickets are sold in advance through the official Kaboodle system only; there is no gate sale. Published adult releases are £10.60, £13.10, £16.70, £15.90 and £18.10, so the available total depends on the sales stage. Tickets for ages 5–15 cost £11.50. Under-fives enter free but still require a ticket. Everyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, with no more than four under-18s per adult.

There is no re-entry, no general parking, and food and merchandise are card-only. Visitors may not bring glass, alcohol, food or sparklers. Albert Gate is described as the quieter entrance for people coming from Clapham Junction. Nearby rail stations include Battersea Park and Queenstown Road, with Victoria and Clapham Junction also usable; Battersea Power Station is the nearest Tube station.

The published terms include a happy hour: half-price rides and £5 alcoholic drinks from 6pm to 7pm on Saturday and 4:30pm to 5:30pm on Sunday. This is an event-organiser offer, not a London-wide discount.

Safety and the law

London Fire Brigade recommends an organised public display rather than buying fireworks for home use. A person must be 18 or over to buy and set off fireworks. The normal general-retail window is 15 October to 10 November; sales outside permitted seasonal windows require a special licence. The usual night curfew is 11pm to 7am, extended to midnight on Bonfire Night.

For home use, buy only CE- or UKCA-marked products no higher than Category 3. A sparkler burns at a temperature comparable to a welding torch: never give one to a child under five, wear gloves, hold it at arm's length and place the spent wire immediately into a bucket of cold water.

What is not yet confirmed

Visit London lists other popular London venues, but some 2026 dates and prices were still marked TBC when checked. Inclusion in a tourism round-up is not a substitute for a venue announcement. Do not plan travel or pay an intermediary until the specific organiser has published a date, time and official ticket link.
