Russian-language events in London: verified dates to December 2026

From a free inheritance webinar and professional networking to stand-up, theatre and a children's New Year show. We checked dates, times, addresses, age rules and refunds. Where a price is hidden until ticket selection, we do not guess it.

Checked on 11 October 2026. Details about language, programme and conditions were checked against organiser listings. Publication on a ticketing page is not an editorial guarantee of event quality. Before paying, recheck the date, address, age limit, basket contents, service fees and refund policy in the official booking form.

23 October: help for parents of first-year students

Project: First-Year Student is a Russian-language working session for parents of UK university students. The organiser says it will cover academic monitoring, internships, employability and when parental intervention is useful. The listing limits the meeting to ten parents and excludes children. The public page does not expose one price; confirm the final basket and any second-parent discount before payment. No refunds are offered.

30 October: free inheritance webinar

The online Inheritance in England and Wales session is advertised as free and fully Russian-language. The 45-minute programme covers wills, trusts, property succession and reducing family disputes. It is general information, not personal legal advice; decisions about wills, tax or trusts should be checked with a suitably regulated professional.

2 November: Russian-language stand-up, 18+

Rasul Chabdarov's solo show is at The Comedy Store. Doors open at 7pm, the performance begins at 7:45pm and finishes at 9:30pm. The organiser sets an 18+ limit and states that ticket cost and service fees are non-refundable. The public card does not show one fixed price, so use the live checkout rather than another person's screenshot.

6 November: networking for Russian-speaking professionals

YARPN's 111th session is at Truckles: arrival from 6:30pm, timed networking roughly 7:30–9:30pm and close at 10pm. Participants rotate tables every 15 minutes; the organiser advertises interest badges and a follow-up email containing contacts of people who consent to sharing. Snacks at about 7:30pm are first come, first served and are not a guaranteed dinner. The event is 18+ and refunds are available up to three days beforehand.

20 November: online Russian interpretation

The BEARR Trust conference addresses prevention of violence against women and girls in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The in-person event is in Islington, with a light lunch and networking advertised after 1:30pm. The language condition matters: the organiser provides simultaneous Russian and Ukrainian interpretation online only. In-person visitors should not assume a Russian audio channel in the room.

28 November: Russian Tate Modern tour, exhibition ticket extra

The guided visit covers Frida: The Making of an Icon. The organiser warns that Tate Modern exhibition admission must be purchased separately from the guide. Compare both prices and both timed-entry slots before paying. The tour starts at 10:30am and refunds are allowed until one day before. Tate Modern's free general admission does not make this temporary exhibition free.

29 November: The Bench

The Russian-language production featuring Alexey Panin and Olga Silina is advertised for its first London visit. Logan Hall opens at 6pm and the performance starts at 7pm; the play is about two hours with an interval, while the listing gives an overall window to 10pm. Tickets are non-refundable. Logan Hall is at UCL's 20 Bedford Way building, not another university venue.

4 December: a fully Russian-language children's New Year show

The interactive show is designed mainly for ages 3–7 and is advertised as Russian-only. Doors open at 4:15pm and the programme runs 4:30–5:30pm. A child ticket includes a sweet gift and a character photo; prices start at £15. Refunds are available up to seven days beforehand. Check each ticket type carefully, as an accompanying adult may need a separate ticket.

Buying event tickets safely online

  1. Use the direct event page and verify the organiser name, not only the poster title.
  2. Check the final total after selecting quantity: a service fee may appear in the basket.
  3. Keep the confirmation email and QR code private.
  4. Read refunds before paying. “No refunds” normally blocks a change-of-mind refund, while statutory rights can still apply if an event is cancelled or materially changed.
  5. Reopen the listing the day before travel because organisers can change times, entrances or the programme.
